Wishbone Workshop The Hook (Mic Stand)
The Hook is an ingenious design for a mic stand - it is extremely versatile and capable of precise mic'ing positions. It is not bulky and doesn't take up floor space (where it could get bumped out of position like other stands). The Hook can be placed into position by hanging under your combo's carry handle, or resting between a head and a cabinet (or even two cabinets), as well as on the floor pinned under the amp. You can get a solid position with this design, meaning no silly goose necks that can drift over time. With one single control, you can get a wide array of positions. One control loosens or tightens the stand across various axis for the perfect mic position. As well as mic'ing guitar speakers, you could get creative and find other uses for the Hook, such as mic'ing a bass drum.
